It’s going to be a hive of activity in July in the Waikato! We have guests pre-booked and ready for an eclectic July packed full of sport, craft and relaxation when the day is done.
Our hot tubs will be steaming and ready to soak away those busy days – yes, we have two of them! Plenty of room for all guests who stay with us. Awenydd Cottage is fully self contained too, and while a continental breakfast is provided, there’s plenty of ability to prepare a meal in the evening or cool down some celebratory beverages.
Soaked In Adventure – Adventure Race, 3 July
This is a 3 and 6 hour race is in a secret location (includes farmland, native bush and forestry), 15-30 minutes drive from Cambridge. Adventure racing is a team sport which involves running or trekking and mountain biking where you must stick together and complete the race as a team. MORE INFO

A double-header day of international rugby, with the All Blacks second Test against the Flying Fijians at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton, and Tonga playing Samoa in a RWC 2023 Qualifying match prior.

Fibretron – Hamilton Gardens, 24 July
Hamilton’s very own yarn and fibre festival. If you’re interested in knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving or any other fibre craft then this is the place for you. Set in the Hamilton Gardens (such a beautiful location), 10:30am to 3:00pm, it’s a full day of crafting inspiration. MORE INFO
